So, a sea of people prefer and still keep buying legitimate DVD discs either classical DVDs or blockbusters, so that they can view them conveniently and repeatedly, and the movies belongs to them exclusively. Time past, many things out, but movies will never out of date.

But DVDFab DVD Copy is definitely the one that gains the favor over the world over these years, and never lets users down. Whatever you ask from it, like ease, intuition, speed, quality, features, flexibilities, etc., they can give you.

DVDFab DVD Copy offers users a host of amazing features. It has a built-in CSS decrypter which can bypass all kinds of protections embedded in the DVD discs, and make the content accessible for you. Also, it can remove the region code restriction and let users enjoy the DVD discs with the players or devices produced in any other countries different from the DVD discs produced in. That's many similar products want to but can't provide. However, that are just the basic functions DVDFab DVD Copy offers to you.

For the first time using DVDFab DVD Copy, it may be a little complicated for the novice. But just give yourself several minutes, you will adapt it and handle it without any problem since all the buttons on the UI are clearly labeled.

First, let's talk about the source input and output formats. DVDFab supports various source formats including DVD disc, DVD ISO and DVD folder. Likewise, it can also copy DVD to blank disc, save it to be ISO file or folder.

DVDFab DVD Copy provides users sixe copy modes: Full Disc, Main Movie, Customize, Clone/Burn, Merge and Split, enables users to copy everything of the disc, the feature movie, any specific parts you need, make a lossless 1:1 ratio copy, combines several titles from several sources into one DVD, split one DVD-9-to two DVD-5, respectively. A short instruction about how to convert Blu-ray to mkv

DVDFab Blu-ray Ripper (3D Plus) is a powerful tool to convert Blu-ray (including 3D Blu-ray) to various video formats as you need. It is able to rip any 3D Blu-ray movies to 3D profile like 3D MP4 besides ripping 2D Blu-rays movies to 2D profile like MKV AVI. It is so flexible that can also choose your device as output profile like Apple TV, PS3 etc.

Article Text:
As a movie fan, I am always interested in the software which is able to convert DVD/Blu-ray Discs to videos, so that I can add the videos to any portable devices. My friend recommended DVDFab to me, which I think is very much flexible and helpful.

As you known, MKV is a very popular video format and is playable by most software player and devices. Here I’d like to supply a little tip about how to convert a Blu-ray to MKV.

1.       Firstly, after start DVDFab, you can see this main screen. Click on Ripper option and choose output profile as MKV.  There are three MKV profile in the list. If you want to convert to the best quality and don’t care about the video size too much, I recommend MKV Passthrough to use.

2.       You need to load a Blu-ray source in this step. Both real Blu-ray disc and Blu-ray ISO/Folder file on your hard disc are acceptable.
For a real disc, DVDFab would detect and load automatically. In case you need to load the Blu-ray file on your hard drive, you can click on the “+Add” button on the top left corner, or the big “+” button in the middle of the screen to load.

3.       After loading source, you can browse all the titles on the main screen. For a movie, the title shown there is always the main title which DVDFab selected automatically. You can view other titles by click on the “+” below main title. Then all the titles are listed below. There you can see a little green button. By click on that button it would activate a floating window for preview. In order to choose the right title to rip, you’d better preview it firstly and make sure that is the correct title you need.

4.        The “Advanced Setting” button becomes available to use after you load a source. You can adjust some of the video / audio/ subtitle parameter there. As a note, for MKV Passthrough, subtitle mode is the unique option which is available to be adjusted.  In fact, if there’s no special need, I suggest you just keep the original parameters, since the output of default settings is not bad.

If you want to adjust the ratio, you need to “Crop” through “Edit” page. “Trim” is also a very useful feature.

5.       After complete all the settings, you just need to choose the output location through “Save to” option and click on “Start” button lightly.

Now, all what you need to do have been done, you can just leave the rest works to DVDFab and just have a break yourself.
